Infrastructure Profile
The institute has the following four well equipped laboratories and a workshop with
state - of -art facilities.
CONTEMPORARY PHYSICS LAB : -
The laboratory is a mile stone towards practical knowledge. It consists the experiments
related to the phenomenon which work around us in daily life. Newton's law , Stoke's
law, Gravity, Surface Tension, Viscosity etc are basic phenomenon demonstrated in
contemporary physics lab with sophisticated equipment's like Torsional pendulum,
Searl's apparatus, Poissulies law setup, Flywheel, Maxwell's needle etc produce
perfect demonstration for students to familiarize with contemporary physics and
satisfy the curiosity of students about natural events.
WAVE OPTICS & LASER LAB :-
It provides a perfect hand for students to become technically & logically sound.
Newton's ring experiment produced phenomenon of light called interference, has great
importance in manufacturing and testing, establishing of Newton's ring, diffraction
grating & prism experiments in dark room establishes the wave optics laboratory
as the best. The working of telescope for resolution between two object is well
known phenomenon based on Raleigh criterion, on this principle a person can see
easily two star separately. The rotation of Polarization can be understood by using
Polarimeter experiment.
COMMUNICATION & INSTRUMENTATION LAB :-
:- It has got a well set up structure with all types of modern Electronics devices.
The lab is equipped with fixed frequency oscillator, audio frequency generator,
AM/FM modulation and demodulation kit, 20" TV set, TV demonstrator circuit, Monostable
and Bistable multivibrator, Colpitt's & Hartley oscillator CRO etc. Facilities are
available in the field of biomedical instrumentation to provide extensive research
and utmost satisfaction to the students. Different measuring & sensing instruments
like load cell transducer trainer kit, displacement transducer are provided in the
lab for giving practical inputs to students about the subjects.
POWER ELECTRONICS CONTROL AND DIGITAL ELECTRONICS LAB : -
This center is equipped with all types of instruments for conducting the practical
in all major areas of research related with embedded system, VLSI designing technology,
PI applications, supporting software for power electronics. Our digital electronics
portion of this lab has got analog to digital converter, 8085,8086 microprocessor
kit , digital to analog converter ,different types of (R-S, J-K, D, Master & slave)
flip-flop, ring counter, up and down counter etc.
